A group of students has developed the portable lamp 'GLØD'. It is powered by a battery to charge cell phones, and illuminates using a number of LED bulbs that use a minimal amount of energy. The lamps are lit in a variety of colors, changing according to the sound of the music. High volume= strong light and frequent color shifts.
The lamp is made for festival guests to be able to collect it on-site. It comes with an Arduino board that controls the light, LED lights and a dunk, donated by Novo Nordisk. In two workshops at the festival, students will help festival guests to collect a total of 100 lamps, which they can bring back to the camp.
