In collaboration with the Gloria stage and Art Zone, the students have developed a project using algae that glows in the dark. The algae are bioluminescens, which means that they are "recharged" by the sun during the day and then glow in the dark when they are shaken.
The algae were used in different ways during the festival. In the stables next to the Arena, guests were able to discover a dark room filled with algae and make them light up. In addition, the students made an event in collaboration with the Gloria scene, where they distributed "algae-glowsticks" to community singing. However, the project had some challenges because of the fact that is was not dark enough and the algae where hard to see.
